100% Acrylic Primer

Water based stabilizing primer with great coverage. It present high resistance to the alkalinity of plaster and concrete. Acts as a bonding coat between the substrate and emulsion and/or acrylic paints. Flexible, reduces the paint absorption from the substrate and increases paint performance. Turns clear when dry. Suitable for both interior and exterior use.

PROPERTIES
Water soluble acrylic primer for emulsion and acrylic paints. It offers strong adhesion and presents high resistance to alkaline surfaces.
Stabilizes new surfaces to be painted and reduces their absorption capacity; thus increases the efficiency of the paints and doubles their life span.
The primed surface ensures the color uniformity of the final coat. Odorless, high performance, dries quickly and penetrates deeply.
APPLICATIONS
DUROSTICK 100% ACRYLIC PRIMER it is recommend to be used prior to painting, on plastered and concrete wall surfaces, as well as surfaces coated with cementitious pastes (levelling fillers). Remove any loose paints from surfaces already coated with emulsion and acrylic paints and prime them with a single coat of 100% ACRYLIC PRIMER, before repainting. Suitable for any interior and exterior application.
USE
1. Surface preparation
All surfaces to be primed have to be clean, dry, and free from loose paints, dust, and formwork oils. Absorbent surfaces have to be primed with one part 100% ACRYLIC PRIMER and two parts water. On low absorption surfaces, the mixing ratio has to be 1:3, to avoid the creation of a glossy film.

2. Application
The diluted product must be stirred well before application and periodically, to avoid separation of ingredients. Apply it with a roller, brush or airless spray gun.

CLEANING
Clean all tools with water and detergent solution immediately after use.
