Ideal for the protection of interior and exterior wood exposed to harsh weather conditions. Ideal for any wooden boat. Excellent resistance to the harsh tropical sun and to all marine and coastal conditions. Ideal solution for wood exposed to sunlight and humidity. Enhances wood's warm natural colour giving it a new fresh touch. Good ability to expand and contract with the wood due to the great elasticity of its film. Extremely resistant against adverse weather conditions and tear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul class=\"characteristics\">\n<li>excellent waterproofing protection<\/li>\n<li>with UV filters &amp; HALS light stabilizers<\/li>\n<li>resists yellowing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"col-md-5 col-sm-5 proergasia\">\n<h3>Preparation<\/h3>\n<p>Surfaces must be clean, free of resins, oil, old weathered coatings and dust. Sand surface smooth using the right sandpaper for the task. Surface should not be cleaned with water before varnish application.<\/p>\n<p>\u25ba\u00a0<strong>New wood:<\/strong><br \/>\nApply 1-3 coats of POLACRYL 301. Allow to dry completely, sand lightly, remove sanding residue with a rag and apply 2-3 coats of POLACRYL 345, thinned with W.S. by 5-20%. If POLACRYL 301 is not used, thin POLACRYL 345 with W.S. by 40-50% for the 2 first coats. Allow to dry, sand and apply 2-3 final coats after thinning it with W.S. by 5-20%.<br \/>\n\u25ba\u00a0<strong>Old wood:<\/strong><br \/>\nSand and remove sanding residue with a rag. Use POLACRYL 305 to fill large gaps and cracks. Apply 2-3 coats of POLACRYL 301 depending on the absorbency of the wood. Apply 2-3 coats of POLACRYL 345 (thinned by 5-20%).<br \/>\n\u25ba\u00a0<strong>Poor quality wood:<\/strong><br \/>\nRemove old paints down to bare wood. Sand and remove sanding residue with a rag. Then, follow the instructions for new wood.<br \/>\n\u25ba<strong>\u00a0Teak &amp; Greasy Wood:<\/strong><br \/>\nClean the surface with acetone or xylene. Allow to dry. Apply 2 coats of POLACRYL 301 (apply the next coat when the varnish is slightly sticky to the touch). Allow to dry, sand and clean thoroughly.
